What is work release?

The work release programs fall under F.A.C. 33-601.602 Community Release Programs

1.    Center Work Assignment – People will typically sleep at the work camp, work a job assignment but not be paid.  Clothing will be provided by the prison.
2.    Community Release Program – People will typically sleep at a community release center, work a job assignment and be paid.  Clothing will not be provided by the prison.
3.    Community Work Release – People will typically sleep at a work camp or road prison, work a job assignment and be paid.  Clothing will not be provided by the prison.
4.    Community Study Release –People will typically sleep at a worm camp or road prison and attend a vocational school.  Clothing will not be provided by the prison.
